Due to COVID-19, precautions are being taken to limit group interactions that include events such as the MTPDC.
This is a formal invitation to the 2020 Montana Player Development Camp (MTPDC). This camp is open to:
*girls must register for girls division in order to be eligible for Northern Plains Player Development Camp evaluation, even if they play youth during the regular season
MAHA’s goal is to provide the players in Montana an affordable, educational and productive weekend using local coaches and regional evaluators. The camp places an emphasis on individual growth, skill development, and in- game concepts and strategies. It also allows players to meet others from around the state making this one of the best hockey weekends of the year.
2020 Camp Dates & Fees : The Boys and Girls Camp will take place March 20th thru the 22nd in Bozeman, MT. The cost of the MTPDC is $150, which includes a camp jersey, off-ice instruction and on-ice instruction. Walk-up registrations will be accepted the day of the camp (cost of walk up/day of registration will be $250). Registration forms can be found at the homepage of the MAHA

Camp Staff : MAHA will choose experienced, educated coaches to coach both on and off the ice. The on-ice personnel are experienced in conducting drills and scrimmages for the purpose of development, skill progression, & evaluation. In addition, there will be off-ice seminars and instruction in strength and conditioning for the off-season, nutrition for the athlete, and future opportunities in hockey. We will also have guest coaches from multiple collegiate/Junior programs.
Goaltenders :This year’s camp registration will include two goaltender-specific skill development sessions. No additional registration will be required for participation in these extra training clinics.
Northern Plains District Development Camp (NPDDC) : Following the conclusion of the MTPDC camp, players with birth years 2002 - 2007 (Boys and Girls) may be selected to continue on to the Northern Plains District Development Camp (NPDDC). The 2020 NPPDC will be held in Grand Forks, ND May 7th-10th. Players are then eligible to compete for an invitation to represent the Northern Plains District at USA Hockey regional or national camps. More information on the NPDDC camp can be found on the Northern Plains website. Players must attend the MTPDC or complete an absentee application in order to be eligible for invitation to represent Montana at the NPDDC.
