Preparing Your Vote

The FVHA membership will vote for Board Directors at the Annual Strategic Planning Meeting held this year on May 9 at the Kalispell Montessori School. Please acquaint yourselves with all the applicants to make an informed decision for our future.

Per the bylawsOne ballot for each registered member of the Association will be issued to the parents/guardians of said member. Coaches and Board Members with no players registered in the Association shall be considered voting members and will be issued one (1) ballot.

Kalie Adoretti: I have been involved with FVHA for 5 years. I have a daughter and son who both are involved with hockey. I have been the event manager for Try Hockey for Free for the past 4 years, I was part of the internal facility committee for 2 years, I was a  winter classic manager for 1 year, and a team manager for the 14U girls team. I am also Safe Sport certified. If my children continue with hockey, I potentially will be involved with the hockey community for another 8 years.

Michelle Baker: I have been involved with FVHA for the past 5 years our daughters have played hockey, and have been the Concessions manager for the past 4 seasons.  I have also been involved with the Internal Facilities committee during that time.  I think I would bring good financial insight (especially for Concessions) to FVHA and would like the opportunity to serve on the board.

David Cummings (I): I grew up in Kalispell, traveled to points unknown, and returned to make it my home and raise a family.  My family's roots go deep in the valley and I am committed to keeping it a great place to live.  I am a teacher and have taught upper elementary for 17 years because I love working with kids.  My involvement with youth hockey is simply an extension of what I do during the day.

Heather Liebe: Heather is from the greater northwest living in Alaska, Washington, Oregon and California.  Heather met her husband while living in Portland, OR. Heather loves traveling and learning about other cultures. Heather was married in New Mexico where she learned and fell in love with salsa dancing. She is a perpetual college student having studied at Portland State, University of New Mexico, and the University of Montana. Heather is the mother of 4 kids and enjoys inspiring them with art and academics. Heather organized and founded the Ravalli Women’s Wellness Center, a 100% volunteer women’s health clinic in Hamilton, Montana.  Within the clinic, she served as the volunteer ED, grant writer, fundraiser organizer. Heather also served on the board of Safe in the Bitteroot, assisting in fundraising and event layout.  Heather maintains a regular yoga practice, runs, loves hiking, camping, and gardening.  Heather is enthusiastic and always looking for unique ways to inspire and get involved.
Rose McIntyre: I am a "Hockey Mom" of 3 FVHA players.  2 will be Peewee's next year and 1 will be a Mite.  This will be our 4th year with FVHA where I have been a Jamboree Manager and the Manager of the Squirts team.  My day job is a Middle School Principal, therefore my life is dedicated to children.  I am very organized, an athlete myself, and quite competitive.  I feel like I could be of help by being on the FVHA board.

Nici Zuffelato (I): I am Nici Zuffelato and my oldest has been involved with Hockey since 2012. My youngest followed suit in 2015. I have been in the internal facilities committee for 5 years, volunteer coordinator for 4 years, and Mites manager and a Board member for 2 years. I love to see the young kids get passionate about hockey and it is fun to see their skills develop each year. I want to continue to see hockey opportunities grow for the youth in the Flathead Valley.
