Parents can play many roles in sport: current or former athlete, coach, fan, motivator, role model or critic. A few studies have shown that family members may influence an athlete’s involvement and achievement in sport more than coaches. Parents also are the first and most critical agents at socializing sports.
Registration for Flathead Valley Hockey Association opens August 25, 2020.
FVHA's current program is open to girls and boys of all ages and abilities. The program is designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey and the philosophy is to ensure that players have fun while improving their skill level. Emphasis is placed on skill development, team work and sportsmanship.

Additional opportunities to host or travel to other rinks for games and/or tournaments can be added to the schedule and will be organized by the team manager with input from coaches and parents.
